Sycuan Hotel and Casino Expansion

Project Description

This project includes a 60,000 square-foot expansion to the existing casino, a new 12-story hotel, swimming pools, lazy river, permanent shoring walls, new access roads, desilting basin, a sewer lift station, site retaining walls, new underground utilities, and other normally associated improvements.

Christian Wheeler provided the initial Geotechnical Investigation (Hyperlink to explanation of Geotechnical Investigation), preparation of the Report of Preliminary Geotechnical Investigation, subsequent geotechnical consulting through design and permitting as well as the construction phase Geotechnical Observation, Deep Foundation and Shoring System observations, and Soil Testing Services. In addition, Christian Wheeler provided all required Special Inspection and Materials Testing of Reinforced Concrete, Masonry, Spray-Applied Fireproofing, High-Strength Bolting and Shop/Field Welding, Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) (Hyperlink to explanation of NDT) of Demand Critical Welds.
